Chief Executive Officer
As CEO and Founder, Michael Ishayik oversees all the company’s divisions including Co-Packing operation, Maud’s Gourmet Coffee & Tea, Shopblends.com and Hospitality Division. Under his direction Intelligent Blends has rapidly become a leading provider in the single serve industry with a current operational capacity to over 450 million capsules a year. His philosophy has always been to act like a partner with all of Intelligent Blends customers and put their needs first and foremost.
Prior to starting Intelligent Blends, Mr. Ishayik founded Reel Picture in 1997, A CD and DVD manufacturing company, which he operated for 20 years in San Diego and recently sold. In addition, Mr. Ishayik sits on numerous company boards where he works with entrepreneurs of fast growing businesses. He also sits on the board of Doors of Change, a non-profit that is involved in solving youth homelessness.
Mr. Ishayik holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is an avid surfer, hiker and traveler.

Highly versatile result oriented operation manager with twenty plus years’ experience in the food manufacturing industry. 5th generation coffee roastermaster specializing in developing unique coffee profiles in addition to functional powder beverage products. Responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

As a self -proclaimed health enthusiast and competitive athlete, my R&D team and I enjoy bringing new products & formulation innovation and wellness inspired products to market for my clients.
In my off time I can be found roaming the Pacific Northwest towing my trailer in search of big waves to surf and deep powder to ski, and open water to paddle on my SUP with my awesome wife and Australian Shepherd “Kai”.

When I’m “forced” to work Monday-Friday, because I have bills to pay, I am the Senior Graphic Designer at Intelligent Blends. Having over 20 years experience, makes me a jack-of-all trades when it comes to all things design and prepress related. My goal is to make our clients happy and priority number 1.
If I was not “forced” to work Monday-Friday, I would spend even more of my time hiking and hanging out with my wife and 2 kids (a.k.a. dogs) and racing my bicycle around San Diego. Oh and have a few beers too…..
I am Bonita Roach, Account Manager for Intelligent Blends. My job is to be the interface between our clients, the sales team and our production staff.
I operate as the lead point of contact for manufacturing matters specific to my customers. I try to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. My goal is to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products to our customers.
I always put my customer first. I try to anticipate my customers’ needs and to act as a champion for that customer. I always act with our customers in mind and try to exceed their expectations, thus gaining their trust and respect.
